Online Classes:
Yes - Heart of Georgia offers online classes in a variety of program areas. Please click here to see a listing of online classes for the upcoming or current term. You may contact the course instructor for the specific requirements of their online class.

Customer Care Center
The Customer Care Center is located in the W.R. Stewart Building at the main West Laurens High School Road entrance. Our Customer Care Representatives assist NEW students as they navigate through the enrollment process from beginning to end. The Representatives will provide personalized service to you regarding:

  • Admission
  • Testing
  • Financial Aid
  • Career Selection
  • Advising and Registration

The Customer Care Center representatives will insure that you complete ALL the necessary steps to realize your goal of entering college.

 

Emergencies-
Your health and safety are a primary concern of the entire HGTC Faculty & Staff. If there is an emergency, please contact our switchboard at (478) 275-6589 or (800) 200-4484 and depending on the emergency, they will dispatch our Campus Police Officer or contact 911 as appropriate. If you do not have immediate access to a phone, any faculty or staff member on campus will be glad to assist you until additional help can be summoned. On all scheduled class days a Dublin City Officer is posted on campus from 7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Fridays.

 

Drop/Add Policy-
Students needing to drop or add a course may contact their program advisor or drop/add the course on-line via BannerWeb. If a student drops a course during the designated drop/add period, a grade will not be given for the course. The drop/add period is defined as the first three (3) instructional days a the beginning of each quarter.

 

Advisor
Come by or contact the Admissions Office in the WR Stewart Building for a list of the advisors for each program. (478) 274-7837 or (478) 274-7842.

 

Changing Programs of Study
You may begin the program change process in the Career Services Area located in RM 304 in the WR Stewart Building. You will then be taken to the Financial Aid office and finally the Admissions office to complete the change process.
