Online Classes:
Yes - Heart of Georgia offers online classes in a variety of program areas. Please click here to see a listing of online classes for the upcoming or current term. You may contact the course instructor for the specific requirements of their online class.

 

Emergencies-
Your health and safety are a primary concern of the entire HGTC Faculty & Staff. If there is an emergency involving the health and safety of all, call 911 and then contact our switchboard at (478) 275-6589 or (800) 200-4484 between the hours of 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM. The switchboard operator will contact the Administrator in Charge.

Between the hours of 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM, you may reach the AIC's directly at the following numbers:

LLHall AIC - (478) 595-6596
WR Stewart AIC - (478) 595-6553
Porter Center AIC - (478) 595-1057

If you do not have immediate access to a phone, any faculty or staff member on campus will be glad to assist you until additional help can be summoned.

 

Drop/Add Policy-
Students needing to drop or add a course may contact their program advisor or drop/add the course on-line via BannerWeb. If a student drops a course during the designated drop/add period, a grade will not be given for the course. The drop/add period is defined as the first three (3) instructional days a the beginning of each quarter.

 

Advisor
Come by or contact the Admissions Office in the WR Stewart Building for a list of the advisors for each program (478) 274-7837 or (478) 274-7842 or login to your personal Student Information Page with your SSN or 9000# and Pin to find your advisor, current program of study, the classes your are registered for, instructor's email addresses, Angel login information and more....!

 

Changing Programs of Study
You may begin the program change process in the Career Services Area located in RM 304 in the WR Stewart Building. You will then be taken to the Financial Aid office and finally the Admissions office to complete the change process.

 

HeartMail Account Information & More
By logging into your personalized Student Information Page using your BannerID or SSN and Banner Pin you will find all kinds of useful information. You can find your Angel login information, your HeartMail login information, the list of classes you are registered for, your advisor's contact information, program of study and more....
