National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Examination
You must pass both portions of the NNAAP Examination within one (1) year from completion date of your training program or within three (3) test attempts in order to be placed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
If your certification is lapsed more than three (3) years, candidate must re-train and re-test.
The Heart of Georgia Technical College will ONLY offer the competency examination to students who have taken the CNA class or have completed the PCA Program at our facility.

Class size is limited.
The items that are required to bring to the test are in the handbook. They include:
- Two (2) forms of signature identifications
- Three (3) No.2 pencils(sharpened)
- Eraser
- Your U.S. Government issued Social Security Card
- Photo I.D.
- Watch with a second hand
Proper Identification: two (2) forms of official signature-bearing identification, one must be a photo identification, and one must be a U.S. Government-issued Social Security Card. Photocopies of identification will NOT be accepted. Examples of proper photo identification include:
- U.S. Government-issued driver's license
- Georgia-issued voter I.D. card
- State-issued identification card
- Passport
- Alien registration card
The name on your identification must be the same as the name you used on the application to register for the examination.
If you do not bring these items or are late, you will not be able to test.
