Students who enter the Business Administrative Assistant option prepare to work as secretaries, receptionists, office assistants, and information processing specialists in a variety of office settings. Students in the program develop competencies and skills in keyboarding that enhance speed and accuracy, office accounting, current computer software applications and programs, correspondence preparation, sorting/filing documents, and other important office skills.
Students gain interpersonal skills and techniques to interact successfully with the business public through personal and telephone communications.

- Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Microsoft Access Database Fundamentals

Why Study Business Administrative Assistant:
Students enrolled in the business administrative assistant curriculum will complete software courses including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. After the completion of each course, the student has learned the competencies for Microsoft's certification exams.
