Nail Technician

Technical Certificate of Credit

The Nail Technician program provides knowledge and skills in manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, nail wraps, etc. This program also provides training in safety, sanitation, state law rules and regulations, skin and nail care, and work ethics. A student will be able to identify problems such as nail diseases. Completion of the program will prepare students to take the Nail Technician licensure examination given by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology.

Typical Coursework Includes:

• Introduction to Cosmetology Theory
• Manicuring and Pedicuring
• Salon Management
• Nail Care
