Grades

Students may access their grades on-line by logging onto www.heartofgatech.edu. At the bottom of the page, click on the BannerWeb link, or use the BannerWeb link here or at the top of this page. Grades will be available online two days (excluding weekends) after the official quarter ending date. Grades will not be reported over the telephone. Students wishing to appeal final course grades must follow the process outlined in HGTC's Student Handbook. |
Quarterly Grade Point Average |
The quarterly average is the average of all grades earned at Heart of Georgia Technical College for a specific quarter. |

Program Grade Point Average |
| The program grade point average is the average of all grades earned at the Heart of Georgia Technical College that apply to the current program of study for the student. |

Cumulative Grade Point Average |
The cumulative grade point average is the average of all grades earned at Heart of Georgia Technical College. This average is calculated by dividing the number of credit hours in all courses attempted in which a grade of A, B, C, D, F, or WF has been received into the number of grade points earned. The cumulative grade point average is recorded on the student’s permanent record. |

Repeated Courses |
When a course is repeated, only the last grade received will be calculated in the program GPA. However, the other course grade will still be recorded on the transcript. |
