Policies relating to the establishment, utilization, availability, and retention of student records are in accordance with the provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 as amended and the policies of Heart of Georgia Technical College. With certain exceptions, a student has rights of access to those records which are directly related to him/her and which are maintained by an educational institution or by a party authorized to keep records for the institution. Student records cannot be released to any third parties without the written consent of the student.

To update or change student information on file, please submit a completed Student Information Change form to the registrar's office. You may fax the completed, signed form to 478-296-6113.
