The Conference Center is the heart and soul of the DuBose Porter Center. Total area in the Conference Center exceeds 17,000 square feet. Utilizing noise-reducing partition walls that can be extended and retracted, the Conference Center floor space can be configured into many different shapes and sizes.

• With all walls extended, the Conference Center is partitioned into eight separate training rooms, perfect for small intimate gatherings and breakout sessions.

• With all walls retracted, the Conference Center is transformed into a single room or exhibit hall that may host banquet events seating up to 900 or concerts with 1500+ spectators. 

The location of the Conference Center Training Rooms A through H is indicated by the shaded area on the accompanying diagram.

Training Rooms A, B, C, E, F, and G are equipped with ceiling mounted projection screens and LCD projectors. Computer, VHS, and DVD based presentations can be displayed on the projection screen of each of these training rooms.

When multiple training rooms are opened for meetings that are too large for a single training room, audio and video signals can be combined and routed to any of the additional training rooms equipped with projectors and projection screens.

For large meetings, there is the option of having a video camera installed that enables our staff to send live video to the video projection system thus enabling the event attendees to view the presenters on multiple projection screens in the conference center.

The audio-visual technicians can also route the "live feed" video signal and audio from your event to other areas in the Porter Center including the color monitors in the main lobby area, the YKK Lecture Hall, and any area in the Porter Center equipped with a cable system outlet.

Satellite downlinks and a host of other audio-visual services are available in the conference center and throughout the entire DuBose Porter Center Facility.

Whereas Conference Center Training Rooms A,B,C,E,F, and G are characterized by beautiful, burgundy patterned carpet, the remaining Conference Center Training Rooms, D and H, are characterized by our white polished concrete floor.

This multi-purpose flooring is ideal as a dance floor for proms and receptions, though at 12-inches thick, this area is also perfect for industrial training with large equipment.

Direct access to the circuit breakers provides bands and DJs with all the power they need and loading docks make setting up for exhibits and tradeshows extremely simple.
