Patient Care Assisting
AHS 103 – Nutrition & Diet Therapy
Credentials: Some college or specialized training with an emphasis on competency gained through work experience. Must have special competence in the teaching discipline.
AHS 109 – Medical Terminology for Allied Health Sciences
Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in an allied health field or associate’s degree in an allied health field and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
CNA 100 – Patient Care Fundamentals
Credentials: RN or LPN, Train the Trainer Certification (or willingness to obtain), 1 year in-field experience.
Classes meet Monday – Friday per high school calendars. Various class times available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
