Part-time Radiologic Technology Program Clinical Coordinator

Immediate.

Minimum of 3 years full-time, paid, current clinical experience in field of radiology.  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.  Computer experience, active participation in appropriate professional organizations, supervisory experience and excellent human relations skills are desired.

Current radiologic technologist certification thru ARRT.  Minimum of an associate’s degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university and willingness to obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Along with the Program Director, this part-time position will be responsible for the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the Radiologic Technology Associate’s degree and diploma program.   The Clinical Coordinator oversees the clinical education and rotation components of the program; formulates clinical schedules to correlate with didactic instruction; serves as program liaison, resource, and mentor for each clinical site and site instructors. Visits clinical sites weekly to assist in and evaluate student performance.  Participates in quarterly advisement, student trips and professional development activities.   Assist Program Director with instructional/administrative duties as directed.

Travel to clinical sites required.
